nscriber
A shared subpath of the Suhodan joining Wizard and Hunter, named for the Bujeok (부적) talismans its members inscribe and maintain.
Place in the Circle of Balance
The Inscriber sits on the Circle of Balance where the Wizard and Hunter paths meet. The shared subpaths of the Suhodan are player-led, with founders and key NPCs rooted in the world’s history but active leadership carried by those who walk the path today.
Practice
Inscribers take the elemental Giun theory that Wizards study and make it portable and field-ready, using the Hunter’s practical knowledge of terrain, traps, and fieldcraft. They create Bujeok (부적), talismans inscribed with Giun patterns that store elemental effects: frost-triggered trap circles, arrows that carry a lightning charge, ward-stones that create defensive perimeters around a camp. The tradition draws directly from Korean folk talisman practice and is treated as an honored craft.

Their workshop sits near the Hunter training grounds and operates more like a craftsman’s studio than an academic space. They are valued on long-range expeditions where bringing a full Wizard isn’t practical but elemental capability is still needed.
Role in Seonhwa
Inscribers provide most of the protections around the city that prevent Maggi from entering. They also supply the talismans that seal up caves and the crypt, holding the corrupted creatures within from spilling out. As a standing arrangement, they maintain the Bujeok wards on the Danja’s Gwimak (귀막), which gives them a working relationship with the Necromancers. The wards on the Gwimak guard against the uncontrolled spiritual activity that builds up where the dead are worked with in one place, and they get replaced on a regular cycle.
Relationships
They have ongoing friction with the Wizard establishment, who consider their approach crude, and a practical respect from the Hunters, who consider it useful.

Deep lore (stub)
A full Inscriber manuscript in the Danja deep-lore format is pending development. This entry covers only what the bible currently establishes.
