The Hunter tutor at Seonhwa, a scarred veteran of the wilds who teaches new Hunters directly and without wasted words.
Appearance and bearing
At first glance Kang-Ho looks better suited to the Guardian or Monk path than to the Hunter’s. Anyone who has navigated the treacherous wilds knows better. He wears the hide of a powerful Maggi-wrought beast he killed on his first assignment as a Hunter, and he wears both the hide and the eyepatch the creature cost him with pride.
Instruction
He is direct and to the point, and he teaches with the utmost efficiency.
Role
As a Hunter tutor he trains new recruits who follow the Cheongan path, the discipline of Precision and the Wild that hunts corrupted beasts. His leader is Master Tracker Yoo-ri, the Head Hunter, who holds that putting down Maggi-corrupted creatures is a sacred task and a “Good Death,” a mercy owed to the suffering. The beast whose hide Kang-Ho wears was Maggi-wrought, a creature warped by the Obstructed Energy that seeped into the world after the Fracturing.
